There are basically four “levels” that comprise the human; the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The spiritual level is the “highest” and the “subtle energy” levels or “energy body” pervades all of these.
These levels are not completely distinct in the sense that they are nested i.e. the spiritual includes all the other levels “below” it and so on.
Many believe that disease manifests on all of these levels and in fact starts in the spiritual realm and ‘trickles’ down from there into all of the remaining levels until eventually it may become a physical disorder. So, disease manifests the same way that we can consciously purposely manifest things in our lives.
Treatment, therefore, is most effective when one addresses all of these levels for a particular issue. In addition to this giving a more complete healing, the problem is also less likely to recur as the higher levels that contributed to it manifesting are no longer “in play.”
There are many techniques (will not list these here) that work on the physical, emotional, and mental levels but not necessarily on the spiritual level.
This is where SRT (Spiritual Response Therapy) is useful.
The overall premise is that current symptoms or illness has roots based in traumas not only in this life but more so in past lives that are carried over in memory (cellular memory, soul memory or higher self, etc). These memories affect us through their subsequent “programming” of our subconscious etc.
The practitioner, with permission, through their “higher self” connects with your “higher self” to get information concerning this then “requests” your higher self to resolve the “past life and its program” (if possible—which it often is). This then helps the current issue (and/or other issues) by the clearing of blocks, etc.
These issues would otherwise often repeat from lifetime to lifetime until resolved or “the lesson is learned.” When you are able to find and clear the “original” trauma in the “series,” as SRT does, then you are actually clearing all of the subsequent issues related to that trauma that have been persisting/repeating from lifetime to lifetime.
